AMEX to Star Alliance transfer [post-Continental]

I know that they have discontinued transfering points from AMEX to Continental, but is there any other way to get around this and transfer points into my continental account? I need to book a flight on Lufthansa that Continental is showing as a partner. Thanks in advance.

How about transferring to another MR partner that is also a Star Alliance carrier?

If you're going for value, use ANA. They should have the same availability as anyone else in *A.

ANA calculates the miles required by distance, so it can be a great value depending on where you are going (I use miles to fly BOS-Europe, so ANA works great for me).

They do charge a lot for 'fuel' surcharge. I wanted to fly LH J BOS-MUC for 68,000 miles and it was $700.

Other Star Alliance members to look into are AC or maybe a LX certificate.

Trying to book through ANA and it is not allowing me to choose DEL as a destination. How do I get around this?
