It means you are not getting your wife new dresses and bed sheets with zig-zag pattern.

This Missinoni Target sale was so big the Target web site crashed earlier today and still not back up. Great marketing move. Target is getting headline news from this marketing. My Amex fraud stop/alert came from my additional card member going to multiple Target Dept stores within hours.

As to taste I think products are great and if I was Needless Markup executive I would be upset that today you could buy a mans tie for $25 that would be $300 at Neiman Marcus. Also I a am pretty sure Missinoni products were sold at Neiman Marcus until today.

Missoni for Target is not quite the same as Missoni for NM but it's still great to get it out there for the masses...

No but it's a huge devaluation for the Missoni brand. They will loose top line retailers for their $300 ties. Did the Target volume make up for that in the long run?

The total group revenues in 2010 worldwide were 60 million EUR. Presumably the Target work is going to more than replace the USA portion of this.

mainstream offerings have been standard a while, they help overall profit margin (seems crazy to me)
