Welcome to FT and congrats!
Unless AA has changed this year, I have always received luggage tags with EXP card in the past. I re-qualified EXP about two weeks ago and am still waiting for the stuff to arrive.

I wonder if the fact that you can no longer purchase tags will effect the advantage tags given away as a status perk: http://www.aa.com/i18n/productsGifts...false&from=Nav

Yes You Will Receive 2 Luggage Tags
Congratulations, I made EXP 3 weeks ago and just received two luggage tags and EXP card last week.
If you are like me and carry different bags based on the length/purpose of your trips, however, you will probably want to throw away the clear rubber bands that accompany the tags if favor of something that is easier to move from bag to bag.

(And then, of course, you'll soon get a tag with a 'MM' level so you'll need to repeat the process, heh heh... )
