Not that I'm aware of ... and if there were, it would most definitely be unauthorized.

Best you can do on US is fiddle with the URL

mobile.usairways.com/...&fs_num=2031&fs_date=2015-03-27

Stripe was referring to the fact that the AA app is no longer supported on iOS 7 devices.

The United status tool works up to about 3 days out - though that is better than AA. And the UA tool does show how many are booked and how many have checked in, which is very nice in the hours before your flight departs.

But I think you're trying to be overly pro-United by saying it works months out

Even this tool for UA is likely unauthorized. UA only allows 3 days out.

In the past, you could modify the URL and there was also a quirk that allowed you to go back in the IE browser and then change the date. But my understanding is that those were fixed.

How does this nilshomer tool work for UA?

PS - tried the tool and it does work for any date.

.. and you are definitely out of line promoting a system like UA's where you pay a lot more money for an upgradeable fare when you probably won't get upgraded!! (Mr. Rogers says, "can you say 'ripped off', there I knew you could")
UA

UA
I would agree with you. Having converted from UA to AA, I have to say the UA website and app is much better than the AA. Hopefully AA can improve over time.

AA doesn't want to show the upgrade list more than 4 hours out, nor do they show the number of X class seats (upgrade seats from coach to X class), since they want people to buy F and not see what is available. I guess you can't blame them.

One good thing about AA is that upgrades are prioritized based on time of ticket purchase - so you can't buy a later fare and jump the upgrade list. But on UA upgrades are prioritized (after TODs) based on fare class first - so you can jump the list. Only that you can't see the booking class on those on the upgrade list on UA.

That actually is a really big deal, in terms of how useful the list is... those of us with the AA mindset just see "wait list a month out" and view that as a holy grail to unlock the 'which plane should I choose' question. Fare class is a new dimension to AA flyers...
