I voted! Also---I've had the chance to meet Neal and sample his ice cream. He very much deserves this honor and is the real deal. If you are ever in San Francisco, hit up Three Twins for a great experience.

Kellogg's did that a decade ago, and I was able to get 100 miles for $0.61 by buying very small boxes of corn flakes on sale and 500 miles on Sam's Club-sized boxes of Eggo waffles for $5 and change. And wrote off the charitable contribution of the corn flakes and waffles when donated to food banks/shelters.

At your price points, the economics would probably make more sense than they did for Kellogg's.

Thanks for looking into the Woodland Hills Whole Foods situation. I'll be there later today. Look forward to the new, improved website.

Hmmm, you know me but I have no idea who you are. Feeling a bit exposed here!

I promised no sob story, alas our San Francisco store is currently closed due to a fire that caused significant water damage, so don't seek out that store anytime soon. I did catch a foul ball at a Giants game the night of the fire and got the call from American Way about winning the contest when I was meeting with the insurance adjuster two days later, so at least my sob story has two happy endings.

Your post got me to do so--but had I known to read the entries and vote, I'd have voted for you anyway. Good luck!

Posting like this and asking for votes might be against the rules, a quick word of caution. Just check if it is.

Neal may just be the most interesting man in the world, aside from Jonathan Goldsmith.

Got my vote.
