There are going to be some hugely disappointed flyers in the event of an equipment swap.

That flight is normally a 738. Why would they put a 77W on it?

Provides a neat insight into DFW fares too - from DFW r/t is $800+. From OKC $290ish

The 77W is rotating off the DFW-GRU-DFW flights and onto JFK-LHR-JFK so AA needs to get the aircraft to New York.

Or may be a crew training.

Bummer it isn't JFK->DFW. I need to go JFK->SFO on that day and that might've made a connection worthwhile.

JFK-DFW will be the 772 that day instead of the 738. Not quite as special as the 77W, but 16 total Flagship Suites instead of eight.
