Targeted Citibank AAdvantage Promotions - Earn Extra Miles
Call the number on the back of the card and ask for the 1.5 miles for every dollar spent through the end of the year promotion. It does not appear to be available for every card holder. It was valid for my card, but not for my wife's.

I have a Visa. A relative of mine got an email from them, I believe. Told me to check my card too.

No. It's either linked to your card or it isn't. I didn't get any paperwork for my card and it was available. So, I thought it might be worth a shot for others to try their cards.

i got an offer in the mail....i registered, but i think it said 1.2 mi/$, my visa card was issued in 1987....my bw, got a 1.2% promo for her no fee cash card which was recently enhanced to get around the new law....

Didn't work for me (Visa). Instead they said I qualified to participate in their credit protection plan - which is a bunch of BS

Boo. We have 4 Citi accounts and they said NONE of them were eligible.

This a very limited promo and, unlike most Citi bonus mileage card offers every now and again, this is a "pre-determined" incentive to certain cardholders. Likely, if you carry any kind of a substantial balance, you're not going to qualify.
