ANA Miles: 35K expiring 2017-02-28 How to get 1K more?
I have 35K "leftover" ANA Miles that expire end of FEB.
What can I do? I don't believe there's any way to extend them.
I'm not traveling before end of FEB & don't want to apply for ANA credit card.

They used to offer Amazon $100 Gift Cards but that stopped in 9/2016.
They now offer $100 gift card for Macy's for 12K points which is fine but I'm 1K short of 3 x 12K points?
Any suggestions how to get a quick 1K more?
Can anyone transfer me miles?

Of, is there a better deal to use these miles?

I don't think you have to travel before Feb. You only need to book your flight before then (e.g. a round trip UA flight to Mexico or Carribbean in Y would cost you 30k).

I'd rather use these miles for LAX to Japan but I believe lowest amount needed for that is 40K. So 3 Gift Cards for 36K would be ideal but still need 1K.
Any idea how to get a quick 1K in ANA Miles w/out flying & no credit card?

You could buy SPG points from Starwood and then transfer the points to NH.

Do you have any American Express Membership Reward points? You can move them to ANA in 1000 point increments.

rather than dump, why not redeem them immediately for future travel?

I hope this is not violating forum rules or anything, but I once purchased 2.5k miles off yahoo japan auctions to make up some miles i needed for a redemption. I had to use a proxy shopping service though since sellers on there require a japanese bank account. it wasn't cheap(roughly 3cpp) but just throwing it out there as an option

EDIT: to add on, this definitely violates their T&C. i wasn't found out or anything buy ymmv...

you could scramble to fly United or another *A flight in the next 2 weeks and then use for future travel? You can convert ANA miles into Sky Coins as well, which can be used for purchasing tickets. 1 mile converts to 1 sky coin, which is then $0.01 in value, so it's not the best value...but better than losing 35k miles!

I just reactivated my SPG Account & have 0 points.
I see SPG sells 1,000 SPG Points for US $35.00.

Does SPG Star Points transfer 1:1 to ANA Miles?
Are there any other points/miles that can transfer to ANA?

ANA has $100 Amazon Gift Cards for 12K ANA Points.
I may as well cash out those 35K for $300 in Amazon GC's...but need 1K more!

Yes, SPG Starpoints transfer to NH 1:1 (and 5K NH points if you transfer 20K Starpoints).

Not sure if it is a helpful information. Try booking an award ticket and then cancel it within 24 hrs? Probably it will reset the expiration date for you.

ANA have a hard expiry policy. It's not based on activity.

Recall that I need 1,000 more ANA Miles to get another Amazon $100 GC before ANA Miles expire. Had 35K, got 2 cards & need 1K more to go from 11K to 12K.
Called SPG & got a wonderful representative!
Reactivated my dormant account that has zero points.
Advised me I can buy points $35 for 1K SPG.
But, she also advised I can link Marriott where I have a bunch of points.
Linked them, transferred 3K Marriott to 1K SPG which was instant.
BUT, now I'm stuck....the minimum of SPG to transfer to ANA is 2,500!
That means SPG is out....what next?

Surprisingly all my dormant SPG points just got added after reactivation of SPG account!
Made transfer to ANA & awaiting completion. Hopefully overnight....
