I'm crossing my fingers that the suite lounge refurbishment at NRT will be done by late April.

"... until April" - how uncharacteristically vague of the Japanese.

Doubt it'll be open in time for my mid month trip. Too bad as the BKK->NRT->SFO flights times now allow for 1.5-2 hours in NRT instead of the usual 45 minutes.

Any very current info on what is/is not available at the ANA Lounge in Satellite 5 of NRT during the current ongoing refurbishment activity?

In the new Suite Lounge in Satellite 5. Everything except the bathrooms are open.

Everyone knows my opinion of the NH lounges. The refurb is basically an extension/expansion of the old club. Not really anything terribly new. The only thing I will say is that in the new section, they have put in some very ugly purple chairs with a view out over the tarmac and runway. The chairs are a bit bigger than what they put into the HND expansion so while they are not comfortable, they are at least not uncomfortable and the view is nice. Be better if they had ottomans/foot rests.

PS. Have the F cabin to myself today. Glad the make up for the lounge with the airplane.

New domestic Suite Lounge to be built in OKA

ANA announced that they will build a new domestic Suite Lounge at Naha Airport (OKA), their first outside HND. They plan to build more Suite Lounges in regional airports going forward.

The amenities will be similar to the domestic HND lounge, with soup and bread in addition to the usual selection of beverages. The lounge will seat 41 people and will be accessible from a priority security line.
