Upgrade 'vouchers' for CFA members

Good morning everyone,

I'm hoping that somebody can clarify this for me. I am a CFA member and have been told by a colleague that I am entitled to several great vouchers with Talia. How does this work? Do you book your tickets first of a lower class and then grave? I have looked at the website but it's not particularly clear so thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone could give me some better advice! Many thanks.

The vouchers are on your Alitalia file. You can call to book and upgrade at the same time, or you can book first and then call to upgrade. Remember only some classes are eligible for upgrades, eg P but not A from premium economy to business.

CFA is the abbreviation used for "Club Freccia Alata" (the AZ Gold Level), CFP is Club Freccia Alata Plus.

These abbreviations also appear on the AZ boarding passes to indicate the status.

Other ones are ULS (Ulisse) - the silver level and I believe CFV is used for (Club Freccia Alata Plus per Sempre) - the lifetime platinum status.

Thanks and apologies for the spelling errors in the original post! I was using my iPhone and combined with fat fingers, this is often the case :-)
