GF is great, but if you want to get really fancy you should put a little time into learning the basics of ITA Matrix. You Can't book directly from ITA like you can GF but you can run some really impressive searches.
I found, and booked (through AS.com) SAN-FAT-PDX-GEG-BOI-SEA-PDX-SJC-SAN to pick up some extra miles in July. Maybe you can find something similar X: SJC. Good luck!
