Yep, I think I am better off racking credits on A+ rewards as much as I can. I bought my first ticket on Southwest from ATL -PBI one way for $150 plus. The points are only 750 plus for this one way trip. If AirTran still flew, I would have gotten one credit , which if unused, would be worth 1200 on the transfer date.

So my first real Southwest flight. (I may have taken one long time ago in the late 90s in CA, but I can't remember).
I checked in and got an A 24. since I am A LIst, did I get assigned such a number in order of check in regardless of A list status? or did I get a decent number because of it. I am assuming this is good enough to get me an aisle seat in quite a few row choices. (My arm is in a sling for the next few weeks, so exit row would not be an option anyway).

I have a flight scheduled 7/5 from ATL2MSY. I had to book a later flight. Even though I have an A2B account, I am going to eat the original booking due to the change fee.
Airtran was great but Southwest is doing everything they can to devalue the brand.
