VDB Passes

Do VDB passes have to be out and back to the same destination?

Can I fly to one city and return from another (ie fly to LAX and return from LAS)?

Over the past year, I have had 5 vdb passes, and depending on who you speak to, this seems to be an option. I did a STL-BOS/PWM-STL. I also did a STL-LGA/HPN-STL. I also tried to do so one other time and was told no. I always had great luck using my vouchers, but found many inconsistencies in many aspects (fee for changing flights, etc.) depending on who I spoke to. Just my own anecdotal experience and I am guessing YMMV. Good luck!!

FWIW, I just split an itinerary using VDB certificates. It was no problem.

JAX-LAS out, SFO-JAX return (LAS-OAK in the middle on WN..they were half the cost of the competition into SFO and I couldn't see flying Spirit into OAK)

The Gods must have been with me
