A332 seat 14A

Did a search, and wasn't able to find anything specifically about 14A.

Just booked a OW award flight on BA without realizing the significant surcharge for seating, but what's done is done. The flight is pretty much entirely empty as it's almost a year out, and emergency exit seats are open. We're definitely going to pay for at least XL window seats after research.

What I can't find is whether the emergency exit door on this plane protrudes excessively into seat 14A. SeatGuru says it protrudes "slightly", but AB charges full price for this XL seat, whereas 36A is discounted, I assume due to a protruding exit slide.

Can anyone speak to the quality of 14A?

Thanks!

There are two slightly different A330 versions. On one version (row 15 DEFG exists), the intrusion of the door at seat 14A is tolerable. On the other version (row 15DEFG does not exist), I would avoid 14A. Since you can never be sure which version they'll use, personally I would avoid row 14 and go for row 16 or 17 instead. Row 15 is missing a window.
