Hi there,

I'm planning an Emirates flight to arrive in Vienna around 1pm, and then a NIKI flight to Tel Aviv at 10pm. I'm fine with this -- it'll give me a chance to go into Vienna for a few hours to explore.

It's probably 50/50 whether my bag gets checked through (will be relying on a kind check-in agent) so assuming it's not, I will have to claim my bag and then check-in again.

What time will the check-in desk open for the Tel Aviv flight? Will I be able to check-in straight away, e.g. seven hours before the flight? If not then my connection probably won't work - I'm not going to lug by checked-in bags around all day.

The check-in desks for Niki are open the whole day as Vienna is Niki's home base.

For Public Traffic its important that you bus sperate tickets!
Please dont trust anyone on the Airport the try to resell you more expensive tickets.

The Train is the cheapest way.
1) You need 1 Zone. On the Platform the is also 2x Ticket Machine! Search for the Red one the green offer only the hight priced CAT.
You have to buy a Ticket from Vienna Airport to Schwechat it cost 2,20€

2) From Schweacht its better when you take an Day Pass.
The are 2 differen offers:

B) It call "Vienna shopping ticket" its Valite until 8PM! and cost €6.10 https://shop.wienerlinien.at/index.p...ow/0/0/0/0/buy
The last Train you can take is:

I see you can buy the Airport Zone on the Wiener Linien page for the same Price!
