Anyone heard of the Air New Zealand Top 50 club?

Someone just told me that their CEO is part of an elite club called the Top 50 club run through Air NZ. They have their own lounge and PA who will escort them to and from the gate. They are ensured to be first on/first off. That's all I was told, I can't find anything about it online so I was wondering if anyone else had heard of it?

Sounds like they mean Elite Priority 1 (EP1) status. A thread search in this forum will find what is known about it and plenty of speculation.

EP1 status by invite of Chris Luxon. Not much online about this level of status. I have a friend that is one and we joke about it as been all a myth!

That's Christopher. You're not allowed to call him Chris.

Question is how many times do you have to lapse Elite?

Don't just think its based on Elite? I've got mates that are apart of an band an every time they fly ex-AKL they get treated as EP1.

It's not based on Elite. Although I would assume a lot of the members would have been Elite anyway.
