Hotels and airpoints
If I book into an Accor hotel say $1000 for 5 nights will I get
1000/15 (66 airpoints) via showing my airpoints card
And
1000/90 (11 airpoints) via using global plus card
Similar if I say spend $1000 on petrol using my airpoints/flybuy
1000/90 (11 airpoints ) plus
1000$ = 500 litres = 25 flybuys = around 5 airpoints
Unless my maths/information is wrong

$1.75 then, but doesn't change much but overall does my maths/information look correct?
Seems it better to go straight to airpoints from petrol than using normal flybuys card and then converting them to airpoints.
I did similar when booking with travel agent on business class tickets with global plus card (got the points) and then got more points when I actually traveled

Not quite following..
Either way you get 1 flybuys point per 20L, and one APD per 5.95 Flybuys points resulting in 1APD per 119L, plus your credit card APD earn rate (1/$90 for Globalplus?). Only difference is that if you scan you Airpoints card it automatically credited to APD, if you scan your flybuys card you get flybuys and have to convert it over later on if you choose not to spend it within the fly-buys program.

Accor Sofitel gives 20A per stay (5 days would be 1 stay)
Other Accor its 1A per $15 spent.
So reading this it's better to stay at sofitel for AP if staying for 1 night or Novatwl if staying longer (kinda depends what you are paying per night and what hotels are in the area)
Saying that, last time I stayed in Wellington at the Mercure (Accor) and they scanned my airnz card I didn't get points must chase it up)

It's almost the same. The only difference is to convert Flybuys points you need minimum 300 Flybuys points with increments of 150.
Transfer via GlobalPlus: 300 Flybuys = 50.44 Airpoints
Earning Airpoints direct: 300 Flybuys = 50.42 Airpoints
Be careful with Accor hotels. Only some properties in NZ and Fiji are participating and usually prepaid rates are ineligible to earn.

Prepaid rates are ineligible to earn?
What do you mean exactly? It says on airnz website you must book directly with the hotel which I have and let them know you are airnz card holder and show your card.
with Accor they charge you after your stay (but give your cc details when you order so its not prepaid)

I don't bother directly crediting it back to NZ anymore, its better of taking the points directly with Accor, plus you can build Accor status really fast.
e.g an recent 7 night stay at the Pullman Melbourne cost me $950NZD, which gave me around 4000 points (extra 600 for being sliver).
With Accor for every 2000points, you can claim 40euros in vouchers to use so from that stay I've got 80euors in vouchers, aprrox $113NZD to use toward another stay.
Much more useful than 66APD, and that helped get me sliver for another year and almost at Gold.

I guess you cannot get both?
I already have Accor account with a little points in it.
It seems the airnz points and the accor program are quite different programs? So you can "double dip" them?

The only way of "double dipping" is to pay for a stay with a credit card that gets you APD (and, significantly more importantly, SPs) and credit the stay to LeClub.

You have to book directly with Accor to earn Accor points and I then earn APD and SP for the actual $ spend on the card.
