Daphne the Gold Elite Dog!
Check out the story in today's Nor'West News (a local Christchurch paper) about Daphne the St. Bernard who has become the first canine Gold Elite member. Very funny.

How can you become Gold Elite with 6 or 7 domestic flights?

Yeah, obviously the dog's been comped. It takes a bit of gloss off the achievement I think.

I'll have to keep this quiet from my dogs. They've only got basic QF and NH cards ... with only a few hundred miles in each
