First class upgrade?

First class upgrade?
Hi all!
I am new here and this is my very first post, very excited to have found this community. I'm pretty sure this question gets asked a lot here so apologies. Is it possible to be upgraded to first class from a business clas ticket on Air France? I am flying MEX-CDG-BOm on a Z class fare but I am now gold status in flying blue. I have been put on the waiting list before and sometimes have been upgraded from economy to business in shorter flights but I do not know if there is even a waiting list for Air France First Class to be upgraded. I will be platinum after this flight but I was just wondering if it was possible and if you could give me some tips to achieve it. Thank you!
