$7,525 each round trip. But the usual round trip fare for one oscillates between $20,000 - 24,000. Business class is around $5,000 - 6,000.

So, quite a deal.

Chuffed am I.

Isn't it usually around 10k-15k for F?
But yes for 7.5k on the 380, that is a good price.
Enjoy your trip

Congratulations. I admit that personally, at that price, I probably wouldn't touch it with a bargepole but I agree that it seems like less than AF's usual fares. Have a good trip!

AF F, Bristol hotel, that's quite an expensive trip. I hope everything goes fine.

The fare you mention comes with plenty of restrictions, There are a variety of AF F fares with varying degrees of restrictions (especially advance booking), so your fare is not that exceptional. And BA offers a lower fare (6,333) in F SFO-LHR

Perhaps with the $2,400 you would have saved on BA you could have stomached a stopover in London and a trip to the LHR T5 CCR!

Thank you, Brunos.

It will be marvelous! Four days at Le Bristol, then six days aboard Belmond's Amaryllis barge meandering through the canals of Burgundy, followed by five more days at Le Bristol.

ATH CDG SFO CDG ATH costs 4200 USD all in / person in AF F.
Stopover in Paris or AMS permitted. Max stay 12 month. No change penalty. 200 EUR refund penalty and 28 days advanced purchase.

So I am afraid but you've overpaid for your ticket

If this Grexit actually happens, that price could come tumbling in the next few weeks...

Doubtful, AF will continue to denominate their fares ex-GR in € regardless of any currencies that Athens may have to use or revive. Any speculations that € will dive further is speculative at this time since any contagion effect, if major, will also affect economies beyond Europe, thereby reducing growth not just in EU but elsewhere as well. There is another school of thought that if Greece leaves the €, and there is no obvious effects of contagion, the common currency will see one of its major downward factors / uncertainty removed, thereby leading to a sharp rise in its valuation within months.
