So basically, this didn't make me any the wiser...

AMS : You can bring a guest to the lounge regardless if it's on the same flight or not as long as it is a ST flight

CDG : No you can't?

And the ST manifest reads that the AMS is correct and the CDG is not?

Is there anything I need to print out to bring when I get to the lounge to prove them wrong? After all we're all on AF flights from CDG (me GVA and him CPH)...

I guess this means you are now talking about the return journey, because in the first post you were both apparently taking the same flight.

When you are both on the same flight departing CDG, you will definitely be able to guest your brother into the lounge. When you are departing on different flights from CDG, Air France policy (and the experience of other posters upthread) indicates that you won't be allowed to guest him in. However, he should of course be granted access at wherever you both are flying from initially.

You can try it of course, and bring along the Skyteam lounge access rules to see how they get themselves out of that one.

Next time: route via AMS on the return, if possible.

UPDATE: No problems in bringing a guest into the CDG 2F lounge even though leaving on different ST flights so all happy days...

The AF-KLM website speaks of a fee of 3500 or 5000 miles depending on region. How much is it to get acces to the Crown Lounge?

And hereby I assume it does not matter that we are travelling on a codeshared flight? KL ticketed it but is not the operating carrier.

Based on last year's experience, 5000 miles.
