Myself, I will be getting -500 status miles driving to Carman. No chance of upgrades and definitely no suprise curried couscous in green celophane!

A little late on the notice, but nonetheless ab320 and I had great chats. Sorry that the others above didn't have a chance to make it this time. Maybe next time.

Another mini YWG DO is scheduled for late Oct I believe? I have had some plans pushed back and will be back in Winnipeg early Nov instead. Hopefully, more of us can meet then (Oct and Nov).

Steady everyone. I know my reputation precedes me but normally only to ensure the carpet is sufficiently dusted and unfurled and the Champagne sufficiently chilled.

All is so far going to plan AKA chaos! as I settle the sale on my Sydney apartment, extricate myself from my employer and realise in my own mind that I will soon be an expat, and foreigner from a non-English speaking background .

My arrival is October 5, courtesy of LA, QF and UA (code-share AC). I then have the wonderful task of celebrating, and catering, Thanksgiving for 20 people - my first real experience of North American culture .

Late October/November for another Winnie Do is still on the cards (dependant on the majority availability) so lets look to after Thanksgiving for a firm date.

This is so exciting!

airbus320, I'm looking at a trip to YWG in late November, possibly between the 22nd and 29th. I'll let you know when the dates firm up and perhaps we can get together for coffee.
