Changing Segments - Award Ticket
I was wondering, how simple is it for an Aeroplan agent to change a couple of segments for an award ticket?
Does the entire itinerary need to be re-ticketed? Or is it as simple of dropping the unwanted segment(s) and adding the new segment(s)?
Is this kind of change something that's easy to mess up, and therefore potentially cause me to lose my entire itinerary?

Entire itinerary must be 'revalidated' (ie: adherence to rules tested as though it was a brand new booking). The fee is ~$100/ticket per the rules. Taxes, AIFs, and scamcharges will be recalculated accordingly and the difference debited or credited to your CC.
Agents do it every day. Its a pretty basic part of the job.
