Think I'll get my preferred seat refund??
I was booked SEA-YVR-YYZ. For the YVR-YYZ leg it was a 789.
I paid around $100 to select a premium seat (row 13, the Premium Economy Seats)
Day of departure comes, and my SEA-YVR leg is cancelled due to weather from the incoming flight, so they put me on SEA-YYC-YYZ instead.
They gave me a preferred seat (exit row) however the preferred seat cost for YYC-YYZ is around $50.
So, technically they did seat me in a preferred seat, however it would have been $50 cheaper.
Am I entitled to the difference refunded? I sent through a refund request a couple weeks back but have heard nothing back yet.
