Air Canada Rouge TLV?
Hi

I just noticed an AC Rouge plane that took off from TLV and is returning? Any reason it was there in the first place or why it's going back?

I think they do some maintenance in TLV. Someone else will have a more exact answer.

So they fly from Canada to TLV for maintenance?

AFAIK - 767's go to Singapore for Rouge Conversion (including winglet installation) & Tel Aviv for Heavy Maintenance.

saw a rouge flight from YYZ to TLV a few weeks ago leave at 3:30 from YYZ to TLV. Thought it was funny a rouge flight to TLV. Explains a lot.

Rouge aircraft ferrying in/out of TLV fly empty. Mainline 767's (now replaced by 787's) were swapped out for revenue, passenger carrying flights after maintenance had been completed.
