Chopped Canada - MLL Edition
Was in the MLL the other day and was thinking about ways of hacking the food offerings to make something even more delicious. It made me think of the show Chopped where you only have 20-30 minutes and mystery basket ingredients to come up with a gourmet meal.
So in this edition, you have 20-30 minutes in the MLL and the mystery basket ingredients are what's supplied in the different MLLs.
What are your MLL food hacks?
Will start...
Lime Chili Eggs
- 2-3 hard boiled eggs, cut in half
- Squeeze of 3 lime wedges
- Tabasco sauce
Prep time: < 2 minutes
Made in: YYZ Domestic MLL, YYZ transborder MLL

Buy more? In all seriousness, this doesn't appear to be as serious of a thread as others, so i'll chime in since you started posting about food/drink hacks on board.
4 appears to be the limit that most FA's will give you when it comes to gins (at the start of BoB). Ask for two cans of tonic, and three "glasses" of ice. Pour half a shot into the first glass, and fill it up equally with tonic. Rinse and repeat. It's how I "pace" myself. As the flight continues, the glasses of ice will start to melt, simply drink the "water", and rinse and repeat. Usually by the 3rd hour, you can buy two more shots.
When it comes to the MLL's, my hack there is to head to the PP. Rather than hacking for food, I choose to go to a place with warm, decent, (in most cases) Asian food for free-ish (with my AMEX Plat hack that i've posted previously about)

The only things I've ever done were using the nacho chips to eat my chili, and mixing some granola with those greek yogurts. Next time I'm in the MLL, I'll think of this thread

Egg Sandwich Sliders...
- melba toas
- mayo
- chopped up hard boiled eggs (but not all MLLs have them, I don't think YYC or YEG do or maybe I'm just not there early enough)
prep time 1 minute
If there's no mayo...maybe Guac would be tasty.

I'm in the MLL now so I'll give this one a shot, only to help ward off scurvy.
