K class, operated by Air India, credited to AE?

K class, operated by Air India, credited to AE?
Hi folks:

I am thinking to go to DEL. I am getting YYZ-LHR(AC)-DEL(AI). All in K class, and credited to Aeroplan (AE). I know that on the AC portion I will only get 50% status miles. The LHR-DEL portion is operated by AI, and showing as AC6388/6389 in K class.

AE says that K class on AI international flights get 100% status miles. Will I get 100% status miles if I book an AC codeshare (AC6388/9) in K class, operated by AI?

No. You don't know what the codeshare will map into.

I suggest buying this under an AI flight number on an OTA.

I have BOMLHRYYZ, same situation as yours, and AC codeshare K = AI U
