This is one more badge you need to be considered a true road warrior!

I can't even begin to count how many times I have taken AC754 or AC156, showered in the MLL and then off to work or onto AC400.

Given the spring weather, maybe we can consider a venue with an outdoor patio.

I would be in favor of that! Patios I can think of - there are some on the Esplanade a block south of front - Bier Market, Scotland Yard, Old Spaghetti Factory, Keg. At Young and Front, O&B, Houstons. Other side of Union Station, Jack Astors, rooftop patio at Gretzky's. Not sure of any that might have enough space to reserve for our transient group though. Again, I am sure there are others! Black Bull on Queen West, Mill Street in Distillery district, the Pilot near Yonge and Bloor, Madison and I think Hemmingway's has a patio too. Again, not sure if they will take a group. Just throwing out ideas!

You assume we won't get another bout of snow!

Actually, I really hope it's an awesome day on May 9. But the way things are going, it's hard to predict that. Most patios downtown are currently not operating. I know May 9 is yet a couple of weeks off, but it's possible that not all patios will be up and running by then.

Accuweather forecast for May 9 is colder with periods of rain. Hi 14 Lo 7. Not quite patio weather so a fallback will be needed. But long range forecasts? I'm sure that it will change by then!

Where are we supposed to be advertising this. I'm at the CLE pre-Do, and at least one person is surprised he hasn't heard about this one.

Wow, go away for a week for a mini vacay and you guys organize yourselves

May 9th works for me as well. I will make a sign to put on the table to make it easier for newcomers to recognize us.

I still suggest the Bier Market for their awesome collection of craft beers (on Esplanade works and they do have a patio). Agree a patio option is ideal if the weather is nice but having a decent indoor setting if its not. Against the Grain worked well last time by YTZ, but understand if others want a change of venue.

Beer bistro could also work. They have an outdoor patio as well along with an extensive beer list. For those who have a CIBC Aerogold, you'll get 2X the miles here. http://beerbistro.com/

Here' s a list of the top ten bars with the most beer taps in Toronto. Bier Market makes the list well

I would also like to throw out Earls in downtown Toronto. For those who have lived/been to Western Canada you will know about this place. They have great food, a large patio outside (with heated lamps as well I believe) and a good beer list. Located in the financial district so TTC is available for everybody. Challenge will be if we want this location on a friday night, we would have to reserve quite soon.

Once we've confirmed a spot I can go ahead and make a reservation.
