Pod Seat Map

This is a stupid question - sorry...

I noticed when checking the seat map today on a 77L (YYZ-LHR) that the "occupants" have different clothes one. Does this signify anything at all?

This was discussed a while back when they introduced the fancy seat map.

Apparently if you log in and check, your picture will come up with proper gender... FWIW.

Sadly my next two AC J flights are YVRHKG and LHRYVR... on those seat maps I just come up as a disgruntled passenger.

Curious as to why you don't fly CX and BA for those routes, if you're paying for J. Don't they have better hard products compared to the 77P?

YVRHKG $1500 in J

LHRYVR $1400 in Latitude (upgraded)

LHRYVR for $1400 in Y/B is a steal! I booked a flex back for Feb 28 and it was $1300....

Pretty sure that is 1 segment on the Latitude Europe FP. Your Flex fare was RT.

Refresh the page and the genders change.

I think it's random.

Considering every time I book a flight, the gender is the one field I have to specify (whereas it remembers everything else), I have doubts they can even tell me my gender

My name is dana and I'm male. I'm "Mrs" until I speak to someone on the phone

Heh. I guess I don't have that problem. But it's still annoying on that screen. I always glance quickly, see it's filled out, click next, and then see an error "YOU MUST FILL IN YOUR GENDER".
