New J pod seatmaps

If you look at the J seatmaps before purchase, there is a new look for
planes with pods.

And the seats have been invaded by clones!

The part that amazes me is that they have time to improve (or ruin depending on how you look at it) the seat map, but dont have time to fix things that everyone knows are broken.

So now I wonder if you can really tell if it is going to be a guy or gal actually in the seat that's next to you?

Do you think they actually reflect the correct genders?

The other disturbing thing I noticed while searching for this... Tango Fares on TATL...

Nope. Checked an upcoming booking, and I'm in a skirt.

Is that why I can't check in online today? Because they have upgraded their seat map design and it causes a bug in their program?

Now that would be a true enhancement!

It now takes 2-3 seconds to make out the empty seats. Expensive, pretty, but useless. Very AC.

The have me as a female on the outbound and a male on the return, same seat (9A) for both.

Interesting that AC.com shows no Y availability while KVS shows Y6 (AC25 on the 22nd)and the return (AC26 on the 26th) shows availability in J on AC.com and does not even show up on KVS.

I wonder if they really messed up the system with this one.

I'm glad they got that improvement in place. It was really starting to bug me ...

Interesting thing, when you go in to change your assigned seat it changes the robot to a new green shirt fellow with my name popped up when I hover over it, this green fellow actualy has the correct gender for both flights and is different for the one showing on the seatmap when you purchase.

Wink I was wondering the same...

Been stalking on some of the posts here for quite some time now - finally signing up as a member.

Just took a look at my YYZ - LHR flight: I thought that the seats reflect the gender after checking twice. But looks like it is not completely accurate from some of the member postings...
