Cabin baggage and transfers in southern Africa

Hi there - coming for a 5 weeks Namibia-Botswana-Cape Town vacation in September. It's been 10 years since I was last in Africa. Finding conflicting and/or incomplete information on cabin baggage allowances, appreciate any advice.

We generally travel cabin baggage only; we'll make it a medium-sized soft knapsack each + small personal bag each, together ~10kg per person. Should we expect problems getting through security and/or needing to check bags on the following itinerary:

1. SA arriving JNB from LHR, connecting (2h30) same ticket (in J) to WDH also on SA
2. Air Namibia WDH-MUB in Y
3. SA MUB-JNB-CPT, same ticket in Y (but *A Gold), 2h05 connection
4. SA CPT-JNB-LHR, same ticket in J, 2h20 connection

2 adults, no visas needed, no children/birth certificate issues.

Thanks!
