Intergration into One world

Any idea when Aer Lingus flights will start to earn avios and tier points?

Aer Lingus flights do currently earn Avios; 125% avios rewarded for Business (J, D & C fare classes), 100% for Economy flexible (Y, M & N) and 25% for the lowest Economy fare buckets (L, S, X, R & W).

The do not however currently earn Tier Points and no recent update whether this will change in the near future

That has nothing to do with oneworld integration, by the way.

Oneworld won't happen until (well into) 2016 at the earliest.

When will EI become a full member of Oneworld?

After todays announcement of another delay in the new Aer Club, just wondering when EI will offer European Business class seating (ala BA) and also when their flights will be fully available to Oneworld flyers?

I switched from Skyteam this year for this reason

Your post touches on various unrelated topics.

It has been stated in various threads over the last few months that oneworld re-entry is unlikely to happen until some date to be determined in 2017.

"Aer Space" appears to have been quietly shelved.

I have asked the mods to merge your thread with the existing thread which posed the same question your thread title does:

I'd say the announcement may be made then, however the full integration from an IT perspective etc won't be until 2018 at the earliest.

When Will Aer Lingus be a member of the One World?

Q and A from AERCLUB website

Will Aer Lingus be a member of the One World Alliance and will I receive the associated status benefits if I am a member of AerClub?

Aer Lingus is currently not a member of the One World Alliance and therefore these benefits will not be available.

Not members, but it looks like you will be welcomed by BA and IB on an equal basis with their programs, 'Partner Lounge Access' is listed as a feature for platinum and concierge

With the exception of Air Berlin their isn't anyone else in EU in OW

So Aer Club aligns with OW status benefits so should be seamless when OW comes along

I'm a Dublin based Gold (Top level) with BA, want to know when I can credit my Aer Lingus fights to the BA program, both AVIOS and Tier points.

See this post from a thread you started over a year ago:

Aer Lingus is currently not a member of the One World Alliance and therefore these benefits will not be available.

The above wording does not explicitly exclude a future in OW but it does not give me any degree of confidence about possible OW benefits in the near term.
