Christophe Alaux, Chief Operating Officer Hotels France describes Mercure as “a truly „glocal‟ (sic) brand”, referring to the fact that it is an international network in which the style, design and services of each hotel are inspired by local cultures....

Hotel renovation program is always a good news, and much needed when you look at pictures of the room before renovation.
However the new design is generally poor and will look quickly dated.
Why hell Accor cannot have design teams as good as Spanish hotels chains like Hospes, Silken, AC, Room mates or even NH??
