Omni Award of the Year? What Happened?
Rudi and Catman announced with great fanfare in late December that an Omni award of the year for postings would be selected. We are all waiting with breathless anticipation. (Okay, so we're not holding our breath!) But, inquiring minds want to know! What posting(s) win the Omni award of the year (formerly Roberto Nancy Emmett, or something like that)????

I think the committee has been committed. Catman's wearing 2 ties to the Freddies and Rudi is swinging on "Hingis" , or is that "hinges", some where in Melbourne, and planning on being in Miami for the "Souper Bowl" this weekend. We may have to recruit the "Tree" to have a decision.

Rudi and I have not been able to sit down and discuss the postings of the year because of travel schedules and work and other commitments.

I seem to recall that there were two categories - one for the best (overall) postings in 1998, and the other for the best profile. Rudi and Catman solicited nominations, but I don't recall much coming of it as everyone was in turkey-mood at the time.

I have my ideas for the OMNI award, but have to discuss them first with Catman - sorry.
And regarding the profile-award - there was practically no response to that - so we just might drop it.
(Rudi, 3 hours before leaving Melbourne and Martina HINGIS).
