San Francisco's Argent Hotel
Pardon me as I placed this in The Buzz, but I need information for the Argent Hotel in San Francisco. The parent family is Destination Hotels and not represented in FT.
Are the rooms big? How are the amenities? Any frequent guest program?

worldbanker,
Oddly enough, I stumbled across www.argenthotel.com today, as I was researching the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, where I will be staying in June. The Hotel Del and The Argent are apparently owned by the same corporation. I believe you will find most of your answers there.

One of the nicer modern hotels in SF. Incredible windows and great views. You can usually find great fares(around $130)on expedia, travelocity etc. Rooms are fairly big(especially compared to the other hotels in SF). I liked it a lot, but can't tell you that much, as i did not spend that much time there.... I would however definately go again...

Wouldn't this topic be better in "General Travel Talk"?
That said, this was Meridien product before the current Argent brand. It's a fine property, if you like "corporate luxe".
Please note that is south of Market St. (by a tad) but still the neighborhood is not great.

The post belonged right here in The Buzz. Part of worldbanker's initial query was about whether this Hotel participates in a frequent guest program. That means it's program related and therefore does NOT belong in general travel, IMHO.
