Web Site That Displays All Fares Out Of A City Regardless Of Destination?

Does anyone know of a web site where you can enter your departing city, and see air fares out of that city ranked in order o lowet fare? For example, suppose I want a list of the lowest published fares out of BOS, but I don't care what the destinations are....just want them listed from lowest to highest fare? This might be good for mileage runs? I seem to remember Travelocity or someone having a feature like this, but did not see this eature tonight on Travelocity. Does anyone know of a service like thisthat one could access?

Travelocity Dream Maps

Change the last three letters in the address to the departing airport of your choice.

I like the dream maps, but anybody know of a site that can do this while specifying for a single airline?

www.lastminutetravel.com aspires to do this. It's not working properly today, but in the past I have been able to specify DFW to ANYWHERE. You can do the opposite as well. They have it set up to sort by airline, price, destination, etc.

It seems that the airline list was much more extensive before. So I'm wondering whether the site provides it as a service hoping you will book through them, or if each airline or tour agency pays them ... or if the site just isn't working today.

good day,

you might want to try http://www.itasoftware.com/

you do have to enter a destination at this website, but they allow you to select airports within a certain area as your origin or destination - i.e., you can specify departing from phl (within x number of miles) going to mem (within x number of miles). then it lists all the flights from lowest to highest.

as far as mileage runs, i think they only allow 4 segments.

last, but not least, the fares they provide do not include "web special/only fares."

hope this helps.

lmbrghini: lastminutetravel is great. I use Dream Maps, but I like this one too for mileage runs. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for all the information regarding fare searching sites. The Dream Map is what I was thinking of originally, but we have a good collection of sites in this thread so far.

Still, it would be nice if you could just get a list from any airport sorted by price of the least expensive fares, regardless of the destination. Perhaps such an ideal tool would let you filter by airline, fare, type, etc. It seems the presently available sites don't necesarily sort by lowest fare out of your city. But who would use such a site....besides people on mileage/segment runs? Hey, maybe mileagerun.com. You could have automated email agents that notify the customer when fares meeting certain requirements are met. Say fares for less than $200 out of BOS, for cities with a distance from BOS of 2,500 miles or greater. Personally, I'd gladly pay some subscription rate to have a really sophisticated travel tool that is more like a travel agency CRS and less like a consumer friendly site.
