$50. Marriott Gift Cert for only $30. at www.bravogifts
See:
http://www.bravogifts.com/promo/20off2/
$50. Gift Cert's for only $30. at:
www.bravogifts.com including dinners, some travel gift certs etc.
Marriott specifically:
http://www.bravogifts.com/subcategor...2&SubCatID=165
Note please, however, that you must pay a shipping/handling fee so the net cost/savings is essentially $50. worth for $35.
A decent deal, IMHO

Here's the fine print -
Rules: Offer expires 04/07/00. Restrictions apply. Limit one time use only per individual. Good for merchandise only EXCLUDING Simon Pearce, BravoGifts.com Elite Collection and event tickets, and cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. Discount does not include shipping and tax.
I'm not sure whether GC is counted as merchansie or not but you might be check before committing yourself on this.

Doc, I suspect you haven't tried to order the Marriott certificates or they've changed the rules...I get the following error messgage when I try: "WARNING:Minimum Purchase for Promotion Not Met ('*' item(s) excluded from promotions). Need $50.00 more to qualify." ---The small print on your link simply says "Good for merchandise only EXCLUDING Simon Pearce, BravoGifts.com Elite Collection and event tickets" ---but I had no luck with anything that was a gift certificate (I guess they don't call that merchandise?"

Sure enough, their "Live help" line now gave me the "right" story, saying this time that yes "some" of our gifts certs are NOT included in this promo.
They apologized for the "confusion" they caused. I actually had this in the cart and was nearly headed to checkout without noting the credit was not being applied. Since I'd already stocked up on these with other recent promos, I decided to switch at the very last minute.
They say it'll work with almost anything else. Great!! Sorry for propagation of the confusion.
Updating-
Here's the Email I just received from them:
"Dear Mark,
Thank you for contacting BravoGifts.com. Although the Marriott certificates are merchandised items, it was a company decision to exclude them from the promotion.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.
Regards,
BravoGifts.com, Customer Relations"
NO BRAVO HERE!
