FAA building tower inside statium for Superbowl

Sorry, couldn't pass on mentioning this one.

Apparently the NFL and the FAA are so concerned with blimps, VIP and news helicopters and low flying planes at the Superbowl that they are erecting a temporary control tower inside the stadium (taking up 10 rows seats in the northwest corner of the stadium). The NFL is paying the $6,000 cost. Five controllers with binoculars and two-way radios will have some great views of the game.

I'll bet the binoculars are pointed down as much as up.

The whole story:

Rudi, show them your elite and club cards and maybe they'll give you a tour!
