TWA rules change May 1, l999

Just a reminder to holders of TWA miles(now AVIATOR MILES). Up until April 30, l999 it will take only 20,000 miles for a domestic RT ticket; starting May 1, l999 it will require 25,000 miles. My wife & I each had 17,000 plus miles. She also had miles on Delta & United that were going to expire shortly. Solution: 1. Transferred as many as possible (5000 mile increments only)to HHONORS. this gave us 40,000 HHonors points. 2. Transferred 20,000 HHONORS points=3500 AVIATOR miles to each of our accounts. VOILA!! we each now had enough AVIATORS miles for aRT ticket. She is using hers in March and I'M off on a trip in February. I want to thank all of you contributors to the BUZZ for the info on how to do it. You saved us 2 RT ticket fares.

Also don't forget you can use your American Express miles on TWA! Sounds like a good time to fly the mother-in-law in (or out).
