90K AA miles for C class to Europe
Here we go, effective 01 FEB 1999, business class tickets to Europe on AA will require 90K miles (up from 80K) and first class will require 125F (up from 100K). I hope the other carriers don't follow!

This was discussed earlier in this group, and is also published in the August 1998 issue of InsideFlyer under the AwardWatch section. Surprisingly despite the negative reaction in this group, the published article does not react negatively to this change by AA. This is even more surpising since the magazine reacts negatively to the elimination of two-passenger awards by United (it mentions "United members are saying an irate farewell ..."), but similar condemnation is missing for the AA article. Am I detecting an anti-United bias?
