Unleavened bread (=large cracker). Ubiquitous at Passover.

Pretty good with a bit of butter actually! At my local grocery store for the last two weeks, you got a free case of matzos when you spent just $50 - not terribly hard these days - so I now have two cases! This should easily last us 'til the same time next year

DOC,

At the local A & P's all you need to do is spend $25 and you get 5 free boxes of Israelis Matzoh, instead of the domestic product. I prefer the imported, as it is lighter than our home grown variety!

Have a Happy Passover, all!

I've never tried Matzo. I'll be sure to grab some at the grocery store next time. I'll try them with a bit of butter and think of you, Doc!

The chocolate variety is also quite good.

But wait another 9 days. If they have any left I'll bet the price will go down dramatically (though it can't go down much further than free).

Sometimes I prefer to eat matzo with cheese and a good glass of port instead of Carr's crackers...it adds more "texture" to the experience.

Not much competition in Houston for the Passover items. No free Matzah. I sure spent enough to qualify if I lived near you guys.

Fried Matzah with Strawberry Jelly is my favorite (by the end of the week I am ready to throw it all out).

Matzoh with cream cheese! Especially, the whipped kind as it is easier to spread!

I like* the Egg Matzah with a touch of butter and a little jelly. The matah crackers are good with peanut butter.

*i wouldn't say i 'like' them, but rather they are the best of the worst.

Unfortunately, taken in large amounts, matzoh can cause digestive problems
Suggested remody is to have with prunes.
