Club Quarters Hotel in NYC

I apologize that this topic isn't related, but I was wondering if anyone had stayed at the Club Quarters Hotel in NYC and could offer some information. Is it nice? What is it comparable to?

Rooms can be found on Hoteldiscounts.com

Thank you.

I have stayed at the one by Wall Street. The rooms are small (think Dorm rooms). Decor has not been updated (think early 70s bed spreads) but overall not a bad place. If you want extras (pillows, blankets, irons, etc...) they are located in the communal hall closet. Bathrooms are brand new -- but small.

I was there one night so I cannot comment on meals, amenities, etc...

I've stayed in the Club Quarters in DC a number of times. Small rooms, but clean, safe, and pretty new. Since rooms are small, it's quiet--no room for parties. Small baths--showers only. Coffee maker, with extra coffee and tea in the communal hall closet, along with iron and ironing board. Good desk with phone with jack; portable phone beside the bed. TV with cable. Restaurant downstairs really wasn't closely affiliated with the club Quarters and was very expensive. No room service, but a list of pizza and other delivery services. If you want a place to sleep and work and are going out for meals and meetings, it's good. Sits on top of the subway. "Executive" or "director" room is same size but has a small fridge.

If you do a search here or in general travel talk you should find past discussions on CQ.

Thanks for all the great information. I will give a report when I get back from my stay.

If anyone else has experiences with Club Quarters, I would love to hear about it.
