BA what's up with those uniforms?

Hello Girlfriends,
Just back from London on BA209, and what a wonderful trip it was in Club World,
But what's up with those Frocks the poor little Flight Attendants are wearing...
I've never!, wouldn't be caught dead in one! And those Hats, next thing they will be sporting a frumpy old purse like HRH Queen Liz.

Ummm... thought you could get a BA podt past me by slipping it in Buzz did you?

Now listen up:

1) BA has Stewards, Stewardesses, Pursers and Cabin Sevice Directors - not FA's.

2) 'HRH' Queen Liz??? It's Her Majesty you dimwit.

The Queen is not an HRH she is an HM. Her mother is also an HM.

In future please use the correct title.

HM Queen Elizabeth the Second, by the grace of God, Defender of the faith.

3) BA issue black/dark-blue leather handbags (purses in your disjointed English).

But I'm glad you enjoyed the flight.

Whatever Merry Flyer!, I'm sorry to have offended!

Give a girl a break, I didn't learn everything on my two week stay in London.
I am a member of the South Beach Imperial Sovereign court so I guess I should have known.

Queen Marvella

P.S. Did you catch my show at the "Black Cap" in Camden Town last Saturday night. The Crew and I will be back In March!
You can also catch Me Feb 27 on Oxford Street in Sydney, Australia. I'll be marching in the 21st Annual Mardi Gras parade, Look for our group "Queens of South Beach".

I always thought "HRH" was a perfectly properly form of literary address. (Certainly wouldn't want to use it if I were standing in front of her.)

phil - there's a big difference between being 'Her Royal Highness' vs 'Her Majesty' Loads of HRH's about...

Sorry Marvella, didn't catch you at the "Black Cap" it's much too far north for me to venture.

If it isn't within staggering distance of Shaftesbury Ave. I don't go.

I saw Lilly Savage there years ago though (before he/she was famous), but thats a whole other story [For our US friends, Lilly is a UK Rue Paul].

I prefer the 'Artful' myself. Give it a go on a Sunday lunch next time you are in London.

namtac is watching and this is getting out of hand. What is the topic here, "uniforms",
"Queens", or whatever? So, let's stick to uniforms.

For the record... Catman is NOT namtac... Whomever (or whoever, that always confuses me!) is resurrecting my "ghost" to reveal yourself. (by e-mail to me of course!) I promise the cat police won't scratch you to death!

But namtac is right. Let's stick to uniforms.

Welcome to FlyerTalk Marvella. If you have any travel stories or ff horror tales please
share with us.

(AGAIN: THE CAT POLICE SAY IF YOU WANT TO CARRY ON PERSONAL CONVERSATIONS TO DO IT OFF THIS FORUM!!!)

Frankly I don't care what the F-A's wear as long as they are nice and polite and the uniforms are clean. I guess my only worry would be what Sir Richard puts on his Virgins! CATMAN

I've been aloft in a colourful balloon, arturo, you spellining emparred twit! At one point I looked up from my lofty perch to see if I could spot you in the space station, and stared for about five minutes until I realised that I could not see you because I was staring at my own bloody balloon! That is when I knew that I needed to get back to Mother Earth!

Sir Richard... when you get down from your balloon, please accept my invitation to meet at the Virgin MEGASTORE in Times Square, NYC.
You should know where it is... you OPENED It!

If you don't like coffee, I could be up for a beer... if you really are Dick Branson.

And I'm SANTA CLAWS!!!
