New CP catering - a taste of things to come?

I caught a ride in J to NYC last week and they served a "real" Champagne - specifically Alexandre Bonnet Brut. Any word if this is replacing the crappy American sparkler on the AC planes? If so it is a much welcome change!

OK, I'll nibble.

I wouldn't run around the house three times for Bonnet. In terms of value for money I would take something like Paul Laurent, but they probably don't bottle in splits and quarters, which is probably what you really need for short-haul domestic.

Strangely enough they cracked-open a full bottle on that flight! (YYZ-LGA) What do you think of last year's CP sparkler?? (the one from Alsace) The AC selection is really really bad - like really cheap stuff I would never serve at home. They gotta be a bit more innovative with their selections!
