LHR Lounge for us Special People
The Departure Lounge at LHR terminal 3, now has a special room reserved for Super Elite and Executive Platinum ONLY.
It is off the new extension down a corridor to the right of the Bar, the door leads to a small room with seating for 20, its own bar, and toilet facilities.
Its nothing special, the seats and bar offerings are exactly the same as in the rest of the main lounge, the advantage will be when the main lounge is full, we should still be able to get a seat.
AC also seem to use this lounge for its VIP's as there is a seperate entrance if they wish to remain a bit private. While I was there a camera crew were filming a documentary on a young lad who saved the life of an american tourist in a recent train crash. They are following him on his trip to Portland to visit the person, who is still in hospital there.
