VIP desk @ YYZ
First time I noticed a VIP desk for Executive First and SE's in the International arrivals baggage area (next to priority baggage).
Wow, are these staff on the ball! Mine and another passenger's luggage were no-show and they were on it as soon as they noticed only the two of us waiting.
They found our baggage on the regular carousel with the priority tags perfectly ripped off. They said the baggage handlers miss the tag and deliver to the wrong belt, then notice the tag and are too lazy to transfer to the priority belt so they just rip off the tag. They said it happens daily.

23DEC98 I was flying LGA - YYZ - YVR.
Checked bags at LGA, priority tags went on. 6 of us in J on the flight. Got to YYZ, and nothing showed up on the Priority carousel.
A group of significantly-less-than-gruntled premium travellers, all of whom were connecting to points West. As best as I can figure, LGA forgot to load the entire J-class container!
The saga went on from there. Suffice it to say that the presence of a premium baggage services desk would have made life a little easier. Glad to see that they have done it.

Wow, a whole priority container! Never heard of something like that before...and don't want to again!
The thing I like about the YYZ VIP desks (as I guess there are now 2) is these are there most senior and experienced staff...there is no screwing around...things get done.
