Get Miles for all BostonCoach ground transport (& 5% discount)

Beginning Nov. 1, Delta's SkyMiles members may earn miles through BostonCoach, an international provider of executive sedan, limousine and group transportation services for business and leisure travelers. Members will earn 250 miles for every BostonCoach ride, regardless of cost and distance traveled.

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in more than 450 cities worldwide, BostonCoach provides travelers with safe, clean and dependable ground transportation. SkyMiles members may book BostonCoach by calling 800-672-7676 or visiting the web site at www.bostoncoach.com . When reserving ground transportation, members will need to reference account number 29767 and their SkyMiles account number. Miles earned will be credited automatically to the consumer's Delta SkyMiles membership account within 6 to 8 weeks.

**** For a limited time, travelers also will receive a 5% discount for BostonCoach sedan reservations made through the BostonCoach web site using account number 29851.

Hey folks, DON'T jump at this one. You can receive 500 Starwood points instead, which is a much better deal, since they convert 1 to 1 to airline miles on Delta and elsewhere(or better, if you are converting 20,000 Starwood points to 25,000 airline miles). Details are on the Starwood Preferred Guest web page, which I think is www.preferredguest.com

I have already taken about 6 trips on Boston Coach in the last two months with the Starwood deal. They post a little slow, but about 4 have posted so far, for 2000 points so far.

So, I would only do the Delta/Boston Coach deal if you are not a Starwood member. Otherwise, you can do better than 250 miles.

Thanks for the tip re 500 SPG points rather than 250 DL miles. Just updated my res with SPG account number. Also fyi BostonCoach has a similar offer with AA for 250 miles, but again, the SPG 500 points seems to be the best offer going.

Sounds like a great idea. Thanks for the tip. I think I'll go with the Starwood account.

Question: I assume that they will not bill for no-show if flight is cancelled, and that driver knows when flight arrives ?
