Double British Airways Diners Club Miles.
Start using your Diners Club more often, as rumor has it from June - August or there about you will be able to cash in again for those double miles on British Air. No exact dates yet but if you can hold out from redeeming now it will pay to wait!

Even if it is just a rumor, where did you hear this news?
I sure hope it happens...

It's official. Thanks to fargo and Larrude for finding and posting the link on the Diners Forum:

Due to a very positive response, we are happy to bring back a very special promotion. Once again you can convert your Club Rewards points to British Airways Executive Club miles between June 1 and August 31, 2001, and you'll receive twice as many miles! For example, normally you'd get 25,000 Executive Club miles in exchange for 50,000 Club Rewards points. But with this limited time offer, 50,000 points = 50,000 miles. Use your miles to take an exciting adventure to any of British Airways' 165 destinations worldwide. Simply call Club Rewards at 800-234-40341 (8AM-10PM ET, M-F) to redeem your Club Rewards points for double Executive Club miles.
If you're not already a member of British Airways Executive Club North America, you can enroll now.* Just call Executive Club Member Services at 800-955-2748 and mention code USDC01 or visit British Airways online at britishairways.com/usa. As soon as you become an Executive Club member, you'll find more mileage-earning opportunities waiting for you with British Airways' many airline, hotel, car rental and service partners.
*This offer is available to U.S. residents only.
You must be an Executive Club member to participate.

This promo makes consolidation of miles from AA, DL, UA, and BA possible without any loss of miles. Diners does 1 to 1 transfers from AA, DL, and UA into Club Rewards points in increments of 10k up to an annual max of 50k. The normal 50% loss on miles is offset during the BA double promo when 1 Club Rewards point equals one BA mile. Now I'll just need to decide between BA first class suites or Concorde when it starts flying again!

BA has Club World awards from the USA to Europe for only 80000 miles. This is not only 10000 miles cheaper than AA/UA/DL and you get the new sleeper seat.
The BA arrival lounge in Heathrow is one of the best out there.

Has anyone tried to transfer more then 50000 miles a year from AAdvantage to Diners? The AA web site states that the limit is 50,000 miles per year, but I have heard others say that the limit wasn't enforced in the past with Delta. It would be nice to know before I strand half my miles at AA because I can't transfer them all to BA.

Is there a limit to the number of Diners Club points that can be transferred to British Airways?

Why BA?!?!?
I'm sure everyone is so excited that the BA promotion is back, but I just can't get into it because it's British Airways.
I don't have any miles on BA, and although I have some miles in DC, it's not enough to do any awards on BA.
It would better for me if the Promo were for NW, DL, or CO. Heck, even UA, AA, or US would be better, but BA?...Yawn!
