Miles on airlines arranged by cruise lines?
My family is cruising, and the airfare was included in the package. We have NW going and TWA coming. Does anyone know if we can get our FFM on these presumably discounted fares? thanks to all who know.

Some fares you can not get miles on, but most of the time I have been able to. Follow the advice given above, call and ask if they have your number, all they can say is no. If they say no on the telephone, ask when you check in if your number is in the system, again all they can say is no.

Never had a problem with cruise lines or Tour providers tickets in getting my miles.
Matter of fact got upgraded to BC on DL from jfk/brx last year on a Reniassance provided ticket and I'm not DL elite only NW.
Be sure and get your seat assingments as soon as you receive your air tickets. Most providers do not take care of your seating and travelers wind up getting the leftovers at the checkin counter.

We have always gotten miles for packages when using cruises or packaged vacation trips to Europe.
However, in most cases, the airfares are NOT upgradeable no matter how much begging is done...
