US Air/United Merger - why is it so quiet?

It's been very quiet lately on this topic. Anyone got their ear to the ground and know what's happening?

Currently the bank that issues the USAirways card is trying to avoid issuing new ones.

Hmmm... a bank refraining from charging us lotsa interest? That sounds pretty telling to me.

And yes, Doc, you always are a great source of information!

I noted a few weeks ago the USAir website press releases on the matter have all but dried up. There was SLEW of them a few months ago. Looks ominous to me.
